USE RECOMMENDATIONS

Soak the Stone: Submerge the whetstone in water for 10 to 15 minutes to ensure it is fully saturated for optimal sharpening.

Prepare the Stone: Place the whetstone on a stable surface with the coarse side facing up to start the sharpening process.

Angle and Technique: Hold the knife at an angle of 8-15 degrees against the stone. Gently slide the blade back and forth over the coarse side, applying light pressure. Continue this motion until you achieve the desired sharpness.

Switch Sides: Once you’re satisfied with the sharpness, flip the whetstone to use the fine-grit side.

Refine the Edge: Repeat the sharpening motion on the fine-grit side to polish and refine the blade’s edge for a razor-sharp finish.

Clean and Dry: Rinse the knife thoroughly to remove any sharpening debris. Dry the knife completely before storing it to maintain its condition.
